MAIN STAGE ENTERTAINMENT
FOLK STAGE ENTERTAINMENT
The Festival’s Folk Stage will feature performances by:
Rancho Folclórico Pawtucket of Pawtucket, RI,
Rancho Folclórico do Alto do Minho de Norwood of Norwood, MA and Concertinas do Minho.
Band performances by Banda Espirito Santo of Lowell, Ma, and Filarmónica Santo António of Cambridge, MA will also take place at the Folk Stage.
Specific performance times for both the Main Stage and Folk Stage will be announced at a later time.
The Festival’s program will include fado performances on the Main Stage by Catarina Veludo, José Silva, and Abel Lima.
Other local acts include International Portuguese Music Award performers David DeMelo e Banda Internacional and Azorean-born rapper Sandro G.
This year’s celebration also features performances by Myrica Faya, of Terceira, Azores, who brings a modern spin to traditional Portuguese folk music;
Alex Ferrari, best known for his chart-topping rendition of “Bara Bará Bere Berê”; and the internationally-renowned Luso-Canadian band, Starlight, with over one million albums sold.
The day’s host will be Mike Rita, Luso-Canadian performer and comedian.
GASTRONOMY
#BPF2019 is definitely going to be all fun and games! Join us for family-friendly activities from Mass Youth Soccer and New England Revolution!
There will be fun, free giveaways for attendees, a free raffle for a chance to win tickets to a Revs game, take photos with Slyde- the Revs mascot, and games including corn hole, giant jengablow up accuracy kick game, and a mobile surface soccer pitch!

SOCCER TOURNAMENT
Join us for our inaugural soccer tournament between Merrimack Valley United FC and the New Hampshire 2019 All Stars! 🇵🇹⚽
The game will take place at Danehy Field#1 in Cambridge, MA, on June 23 @ 8:00 AM.
The winning team will receive the trophy at Boston City Plaza during the afternoon event #BPF2019
The BPF Board has secured the following food vendors to showcase the Portuguese cuisine: Casa Portugal (Cambridge, MA), Dean’s Concessions (Charlestown, MA), John Ramos Catering (Woburn, MA), Rocco’s Restaurant (Wilmington, MA), Two Sisters (Taunton, MA) and Village Bar and Grill (Everett, MA), A La Carte Catering, Farm Grill Food Truck, Portuguese-American War Vets, Joey Bats Café.
